Modern and yet with a strong connection to our unique and lovely mountain world, this is not only reflected in our interior design, but also in our daily activities.

We are the opticians of Gstaad, founded in 1976 by Willi Worni as "Augenoptik Worni" at the same location in Chalet Madora in Gstaad and built up prudently and successfully as a local specialist shop for optometry. After 37 years, Evelyne and Philipp Reber-Steiger took over the company in 2013 and renamed it "Optik Gstaad".

In 2015 we carried out a general overhaul of the ground floor at Chalet Madora. With local architects and craftsmen the shop space doubled in size. A refined design and logical workflows were the focus, this made it possible to raise the measuring rooms and the studio to a new level. 
 

A completely new sales area, two new measuring rooms and a bright studio for the employees have been created. A clear material language with wood, glass, metal and well thought-out light guiding through all rooms were important to us and round off the modern ambience and harmonise with the local alpine chalet style.

Our goal was to make locals and guests alike feel comfortable and welcome.

We can now optimally present and display our extensive range of glasses, contact lenses, long-range optics and FREITAG bags.
